Since 2021, I’ve worked with Science Journal for Kids and Teens to translate cutting-edge science articles into a kid-friendly form. SJK articles are a team effort between writers, researchers, and education specialists. My role as an associate editor is to read through the original scientific article, identify key concepts, and write an age-appropriate version of the article. This version then gets reviewed by the author of the original article, edited and improved by educators, and more, until a final classroom-ready form. Articles from SJK have been downloaded millions of times and are used all over the globe. You can find a selection of the articles I’ve contributed to below.
